There is not a single issue where left/right disagree where right is right...

Not one.

They are on the wrong side of everything, and most issues directly effect the ability of the voter to survive, yet righty votes against their own literal survival, and they are glad to do it.

Go ahead, try to find an issue where they are right and we are wrong...

Also, since Nixon's EPA approval, can you name a single thing the cons have done that help average people?

I cant...

or assumed that the State of Massachusetts was justified and there were hidden facts proving the parents guilt that we just didn't know about.

We SHOULD care about children's health and children's rights just as much as the Rethugs, but we blew it in that case -- left the field wide open for them to come in and champion her cause. And they were right.

This could happen again in the future if we don't stop taking a knee-jerk position against the Rethugs no matter what the issue is.

They don't think children in a non-emergency situation should be removed from their parents' custody for more than a year without due process; and they don't think judges should put gag orders on parents who try to speak out.

And we shouldn't either.

Justina Pelletier never should have been snatched by the Harvard psychiatrists, and the state shouldn't have taken 16 months to give her back. Her Tufts University Hospital doctors were doing a good job taking care of her; and the Harvard/Boston Children's psychiatrists and the state failed her miserably.

I feel no particular need to give "the right" credit for stating the obvious. Even if some self-identified lefties were wrong about the situation.

if the Rethugs ever decide to accept the Catholic "seamless garment" theory -- and oppose the death penalty, as the Church does -- then we will suddenly all need to support the death penalty.

Because they could never be right on anything.

If they take a stance on an issue that happens to agree with ours, that doesn't mean we have to change our beliefs. I'm just hesitant to give them credit because they're so horrifically wrong on so many other issues.

and to ignore what was happening to Justina Pelletier.

We just assumed because the right is so wrong about so much that they had to be wrong about this, too.

Go back even further; Child Labor, Social Security, Voting rights for Women, Medicare, Civil Rights. The GOP has been on the wrong side of history every single time.

I mean, when the Heritage Foundation invented it.

I was opposed to it, but I hope it works. i.e. I hope the right was right back when they supported it.
