But I already alerted another appreciation thread, and my alert got denied 7-0. I got the impression some of the jurors may have thought my alert was frivolous.

Meanwhile my original thread got alerted on and it survived the alert by a 6-1 vote.

So now a lot of time has passed and the appreciation thread craze seems to have abated a bit.

Much as I'd like to alert on this one I think some people may be getting pissed off.
