Most people have never thought about it, but shipping bodies is big business for airlines. Say you lived in California but died in England. Your loved ones want the body for a last goodbye.

Any flight you board may have a body, hopefully wrapped in plastic, in a box as big as a casket. I used to do contract work for a major US airline, and competition for the funereal industry is a big deal for them. They don't even have to serve half a can of soft drink in a plastic cup!
