An ad I've heard on local radio is offensive. The ad is for a pest control company, and

in the ad the narrator compares pests to liberals, saying "they want to re-distribute your wealth."

Is it worth it to complain to the radio station and/or the company about this?

PM me if you want to know the name of the company.

Apparently they want only RWers for customers. It doesn't seem like the smartest advertising idea ever.

He or she may very well be part of that conservative echo chamber, without any appreciation for the fact that liberal radio listeners---potential customers---are offended by the ad. Things like this don't get any better without action being taken.

The owners of the radio station need to be taken to task, as well.

Even hinting that a legitimate democratic opposition are noxious insects should be gassed with poisonous chemicals is evil.

Yes, I will go full Godwin here. The first prisoners in the Nazi concentration camps were trade unionists, social democrats and communists. The Jews came later.

that ad doesn't even make any sense.

I hardly think bugs snacking on leftover morsels on the counter is akin to wealth redistribution. In fact, it's more like what we currently have: a big overlord with everything only leaving crumbs for the rest of us.

Since you're in SC (?), if it was talk the station probably has Rush Limbaugh & all sorts of Rush wannabes on the lineup. But if it was music or sports, that kind of crazy ad doesn't belong.
