It's a fascinating topic. It's easy to fall into "hammer meets nails constantly" syndrome, so one must be aware of that. Narcissism, especially malignant narcissism, is closely related. Wiki only serves as an entre'e into this field, so, further reading is required.

people or so killed or maimed for no good reason, and later feel no remorse or guilt over their actions?
I know it is vogue these days to not refer to these types of folks as psychopaths, so I'm wondering, what word is acceptable and appropriate for categorizing people who do these things?
