About A Week Ago Texas Gov. Perry Was To Call Up The National Guard To Do Border Patrol....

I heard that it was a number of about 12,000 men. I haven't heard anything since then. Has he in fact called up the Nat. Guard? Are they now patrolling the border? Has the MSM been on top of this? Any coverage of them being on the border?

I'm just wondering - if they are there - what they are doing - and are they being effective?

They're shooting at crickets
and tumbleweeds illegally

10 Active Militia Teams Patrolling Texas/Mexican Border
In an interview with the Express-News last month, Chris Davis, commander of the militia’s Operation Secure Our Border: Laredo Sector, who is seen in some of the photos, said members would secure the border in a “legal and lawful manner.”
In 21-minute YouTube video that has since been deleted, Davis said: “How? You see an illegal. You point your gun dead at him, right between his eyes, and you say, ‘Get back across the border or you will be shot.’”

And the renewed Gilchrist Minuteman will provide assistance.
Although rife with right wing talking points the video is well worth watching as under intense questioning by the interviewer, Jim Gilchrist reassures us that his vigilantes will operate under the rule of law.

At about nine minutes into the video Gilchrist explains that if law enforcement does the "good thing" and back off as they did in Murrieta Ca. or the Bundy Cow-Pie rebellion there would be no problem.

Why heck even the KKK is willing to pitch in and help!

KKK Joins Immigration Debate With Calls for “Corpses” on the Border

Speaking to Al Jazeera America, Jones, in full Klan robes, warned that immigrant children crossing the border are a threat to a “white homeland” and simply one more way President Obama ha “sold out the American people.”
“If we can’t turn them back, I think if we pop a couple of them off and leave their corpses laying at the border maybe they’ll see we’re serious about stopping immigration,” Jones said.

Why would Perry have to fund the National Guard when patriotic vigilantes,,,, errrr I mean a well organized militia is willing to do the job for the joy of taking target practice.

If by this or other posts you get the impression that I do not approve, Your right.

of them were KKK members or crazed vigilantes. Toting rifles with their attitude can get ugly.
