http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/07/28/straight-white-guy-festival-_n_5627707.htmlThis kind of thing implies there's some kind of struggle going on for being a straight white person in Ohio," Michael Premo of Why Marriage Matters Ohio told the news station. "Straight white people are doing just fine ... I think it detracts from the real problems of Ohio that need to be solved, that are being denied their constitutional rights because of who they are, or who they love. ...
If the fliers are legitimate, it wouldn't be the first push for an apparent heterosexual counterpart to LGBT Pride. In 2011, Brazilian resident Carlos Apolinario argued for Sao Paolo to adopt a "Heterosexual Pride Day" as "a protest against the privileges the gay community enjoys."
Three students at Illinois' St. Charles North High School sparked an outcry during the school's "Ally Week" in 2010 after they wore T-shirts with the words "Straight Pride" on the front, and a quotation from Leviticus on the back: "If a man lay with a male as those who lay with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination and shall surely be put to DEATH."

a. I tend not to be able to win the lottery when I want to
b. I tend not to be able to drive 100 in a 65 zone, what gives?
c. Sure, I am ahead of every other living human being when it comes to jobs, apartments etc., even if I dont deserve to be, but life is tough for me too...

(86 posts)Seriously, as a typically straight guy I love Gay Pride Parades, I love gay clubs (when it's seventies night and this heterosexual jew with no rhythm can actually dance to music), I love gay bars (because its nice to be told you're "hot" once in a while even though it's not a woman). And I love that all my gay friends are friendly about the whole BDSM thing and don't act like I'm a freak. I love eating really well cooked food, drinking expensive liquors someone else bought, getting with women in their early thirties and forties who've given up on meeting prince charming but are still very attractive. I love getting free personal training at the gym.
Seriously, Bubba and Clem. You don't know what you are missing. Meet some gay guys, let them get you in the gym, let them dress you, and let them put in a good word for you with their straight woman (till she drinks a few shots of Kettle One or Bacardi 151) friend who is desperate to take someone home.
