Rush Limbaugh FLUSHED in Brawley, CA!
Found out about this via Media Matters Facebook page. Brawley, CA radio station KROP 1300 has dropped Rush Limbaugh & other right wing talk shows and is switching to a country music format in addition to: "More local programming, DODGERS, IMUS, Coast to Coast, Local Sports, Weather and News. More community oriented programming."
On its Facebook page the station explained its decision in comments:
The Stop Rush movement has gotten to 90% of our advertisers. With advertisers continuing to cancel advertisement and the rising cost of having Rush and Hannity on the station has put us in a position that we need to go in a different direction.
We have been fighting these people for 4 years while losing advertising dollars daily due to these threats. The rising costs to continue with that format and lack of advertising do not keep our doors open.
There are those that want to bash us for our decision, and that is your right but rather then do that why not try and support local businesses.

HOWEVER, those in the Imperial Valley can still hear the syndicated right wing talk via KBLU 560 in Yuma, AZ.
