If, for nothing else, it sends a message that governance matters and that they are there to represent all of the people and not just a sliver of the most extreme, then it would be well worth undertaking. Let them defend the indefensible in a court of law.

a court date so there is no possible remedies. A session of Congress is being sued not the individuals, it is like suing a dead person with no estate.

How about a class action suit - in the name of the American People vs Congress. (or would we have to name someone - like John Boehner and Mitch McConnell?

At least we should do this symbolically - to gain MSM attention - and then use it as a tool for the 2014 elections.

Oh wait - isn't some other group of people doing just that already? Suing a President.

using taxpayer money to pay for a purely partisan frivolous lawsuit. I shouldn't have to pay for their games. Let it come out of their election funds.

Its kinda amazing that so many support a party that does absolutely nothing and obstructs a party that is trying to better America.
To come out with ideas of impeachment and frivolous law suits in this time is absurd and will accomplish nothing.
I've been wondering for awhile now if there isnt a major flaw in rightwing ways of thinking as they are coming off as rather dumb.
Some reading on the concept.

certify the results the results of presidential elections, and little else. Any other action they take, or don't take, is at Congress' sole discretion. Elections correct problems with Congress, not lawsuits.

That would lend legitimacy to Boehner's suit. Better that Obama hold the moral high ground on this one and resist the urge to play the game.
