US media narrative

I don't watch tv news anymore but this morning I happened to catch a CBS morning news segment on the GAZA ceasefire. The footage they showed under the voiceover was a single shot of happy people milling about an open marketplace. No destruction or devastation, just sort of a "look it's all cool" kind of thing. That was immediately followed by a CBS poll pretty much indicating Americans think Hamas is responsible for the whole thing.
