1. There is one question that must be answered

When will the cop who murdered that teenager be arrested and charged.

They earned the anger of the people.

4. Authoritarians will see it just the opposite.

The people come second, the system comes first. You have to protect the system, even if you have to pretend it is fair and just. People OTOH, can be treated like chattel and don't deserve the same level of protection. What they deserve (according to authority figures) is to be confined in their homes, so that cops don't incite more rioting.

7. Now you know that the wheels of the judicial system do not turn that

quickly. They will turn, but the endangerment of your self with chaos everywhere serves no purpose. Anger is throughout this nation but a press conference where no one can speak because someone continues to yell and scream and interrupt is just damn right ignorant. I felt the embarrassment of the Captain the Patrol who was trying to work with them.

10. Why did the Ferguson PD release that tape

when DOJ told them not to?
Why has Jackson been so confusing? They messed this up themselves - particularly Jackson.
The Governor should have started his remarks with a simple statement that they are continuing the investigations re the shooting death of Michael Brown. Everything else should have followed that.

14. I understand all that. My point is that screaming and disruption in a press conference

does nothing but add to all the chaos that now exist. I am frustrated too. However, what the hell good did it do to yell and scream with no solution to offer. Believe me, America is watching and is frustrated with the senseless murder of a young man for no reason but what we feel is the bruised ego of an uncontrollable policeman. AT some point, there has to be something in place to give a semblance of order for the residents of Ferguson who have children who need to go to school, to elderly who need to be able to get to doctors and other needs, to so much more. Who's on first? No one!

He wasn't answering the questions, he was telling them what he thought they would like to hear.

I really think all of this bullshit is a power struggle for control of the investigation. Some of the people in that leadership group are looking for revenge over our recent primaries.

Number one: reveal the progress in the investigation of the killing of Michael Brown.

But they got 'law and order' claptrap from a disconnected and clueless governor.

The crowd didn't shout loud enough.

Except for Capt. Johnson, I don't think anyone who spoke has a clue about what is really going on.

in their own town. There's a threat there in the creation of a new rule that they will now be punished if they don't obey. It wasn't a "press conference" in that it wasn't the press, who are trained and still yell. Coming out there and hitting them with that curfew without talking to them, cooperating with them, asking them questions, doing what Capt. Johnson is doing and letting them know that the first thing they seek is justice for this man's death and their own years and years of not being thought of as equals.

I think there are too many people who want drama and chaos.

Kinda wondering why Obama has nothing to say with the situation.
