Note: Curfew area may or may not be ONLY on City of Ferguson. With language of " under such terms and conditions deemed necessary" included, exact area is unclear, and could change. We're working to get a better answer on this point.

It is going to take a lot of time...and maybe a new police chief if not a whole new department...to mend this mess. Capt. Johnson has been great but he can only do so much by himself.

3. That's not much of a curfew. They shouldn't have bothered.

attorneys and investigators for Darren Wilson.

That's clear enough.

I'd be shocked if he ever saw the inside of a Missouri state prison. He might not even be arrested!

BUT...does anyone remember that Louisiana woman nearly 2 years ago who claimed some white guys wrote racial slurs on her car and set her on fire? That turned out to be a hoax.

I'm not at all saying that anyone involved in this is lying. All I'm saying is we need to get the facts before deciding who is incompetent, criminally negligent, etc.

but the Black Panthers in the 60s and 70s were instrumental at keeping the lid on the worst of the rioting. They ran a store near my flat and would offer to escort me home. I said I didn't think it was necessary but one stationed himself outside the store to make sure I got there whenever I went to their store. It's probably the worst neighborhood I've ever lived in, but I had a way to escape it. Most of the people who lived there didn't.

FWIW, I never had any trouble there.

I've always had a great deal of admiration for the Black Panthers. The present group is telling me that is not ill placed.

threat facing the U.S." (or words to that effect, paraphrasing from memory). To me, Hoover's words have always functioned as a contrarian stamp of approval on the BPP and their activities. Have not studied them in detail, but I know they ran free breakfast programs for hungry kids and that right there gets them a huge shot of admiration from me.

The guy is Sarah Palin in a suit with out her intelligence and charm. Does any one know who's pockets this grifter is in?

I never thought I'd use the words "intelligence" and "charm" in a description of Ms. Palin.

Has the riot squad steroid crowd figured out that they're not allowed to order people to turn off their cameras? Has anyone broke the news to them yet?
