If the money tells the good christin pastor to support him. HE WILL COME!
If their pastor tells them to support him. THEY WILL COME!
If Ann Coulter (if you don't run Chris Christi, Romney will win the nomination and we will lose) tells them to support him.
THEY WILL COME!

(3,539 posts)Imagen if when you got out of bed this morning, instead of you're feet hitting the floor you found you're self slowly drifting up to the ceiling.
At first you would be confused, perhaps a bit frightened.
You might tell you're self you were still asleep and it was all a bad dream.
You would get angry knowing that the indisputable laws of gravity had forsaken you.
Still,,, after continued reassurances from father Limpballs and mother Adam's apple you would see the light.
You would realize that you're feet had been pointing in the wrong direction all along.
You would simply start cursing out the crazy liberal socialist carpenters for putting all those trip hazards in the doorways.
Might you be getting the impression that I have little respect for the far right?

(283 posts)Prior to the convention, Newt will have a closed door meeting with Romney, and they will emerge with their choice for VP...who will be more conservative than Mitt. It will then be plausible for conservatives to vote for Romney. Disaster averted, etc.

(431 posts)Freepers who support Romney.
Although Robinson is a big government welfare leach who put in a couple of years in the military, nowhere near combat, sitting on his ass, and has, ever since sucked up every government benefit he can get the tax payers to fund. Certainly his lust for other people's money without actually working for it will stop at taking money from "liberal" Romney supporters. Of course it will require that he continue to suckle at the government teat, taking sparse resources from our real military heroes, to supplement what he can make by begging from the right wing dimwits at FR, but sacrifices have to be made.
mohinoaklawnillinois
(4,741 posts)Rimjob is probably waiting for that.
I'll make a prediction today. Romney's gonna pick Santorum as his running mate. That will pacify the right wing fundies and make Willard look "more conservative." God help the US if those two asshats somehow manage to win. I thought GWB was the absolute worst, but these two even have him beat.

(6,578 posts)Constitutional Conservatism does not tolerate abortionists, the homosexual agenda and mandated health care. Mitt Romney is a big-government, eastern establishment politician much like the Nelson Rockefeller of 1964 who tried to derail Barry Goldwater. I have a long memory and as a worker for AuH20 nearly 50 years, I can't forgive what the GOP-e did than and is doing now.
Except Barry was pro-choice, and pro-gay marriage, serving in the military, etc.
This moran may have a long memory, just doesn't remember any facts.

Desperately trying to find some joke. Here is my lame attempt
From Wikipedia
RMS Carpathia was built by Swan Hunter & Wigham Richardson
The entire plant machinery and equipment from Swan Hunter was dismantled and transported to India over six months to be rebuilt at Bharati Shipyards.

(50,562 posts)Right now, the best thing in the world for Jim Robinson is an Obama reelection victory. It will keep the freepers pissed-off and, more important, sending lots and lots of money to Jim Robinson. You know Commodore 64s like the one he runs FR on are collectible, so if he has to buy another one it's going to cost him some serious scratch.
The WORST thing that could happen to him is for Romney to win the election, because no one can donate to a crappy website in the middle of a depression. (And trust me: if you thought the economy was bad before, wait till the Republicans get within 20 miles of the Oval Office.)
Given that, I really do believe Jim Robinson would zot his entire membership if they started looking like Romney accepters.

(20,136 posts)So, it doesn't matter if he snorted coke as a youth? It was a long time ago, a youthful in-discretion? Kinda like people who frequented sneakeasies during prohibition? Kind of a cute story, eh? Well, how about all the people whose lives have been destroyed by being arrested for the felony of drug possession? What about the millions of people who are rotting away in your filthy drug infested prisons at this very moment?
Well, by God, if you people insist on electing another cokehead as President, you damned well better throw open all the prison cell doors and free every man, woman, and child you're holding on drug charges. And if you're gonna elect another drug felon as President, you'd better rescind each and every one of your unconstitutional drug laws now on the books, including all of your unconstitutional search and seizure laws, and your asset forfeiture laws, and your laws that enable your unconstitutional snooping into our bank accounts and cash transactions. Well, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. You people are sick! Conservatives my ass. You people are nothing but a bunch of non-thinking hypocrits! You're a shame and a disgrace to the Republic!
And, I, for one, am tired of taking orders from cokeheads and felons! Elect another one and I'll tell you what. I'll be ready for war! It'll be time to take up arms and run the filthy lying bastards out!

(5,125 posts).....of Free Republic, but of the entire RW hate radio/Fox "News" machine.
The Republican RW propaganda Wurlitzer is, as we know, the most effective propaganda machine ever ginned up anywhere in the world since 1930's Europe.
And the most effective thing Free Republic and the rest of the fringe RW can do to elect Romney is to raise hell screaming the myth that Romney is a "Liberal".
It is not just that the RW haters will vote for him come November:
The reality is that Jim Robinson and his fellow fringe wingers have a much BIGGER job to do for Romney RIGHT NOW:
Specifically, to attack him from the right, so that the corporate media will dutifully take the cue and continue their coverage from the FALSE PERSPECTIVE of portraying Romney as a "moderate".
Romney's corporate schemers could not have written a better script than for Free Republic to take this position.
(Actually, falsely framing Romney as a "moderate" or a "liberal" is perhaps the only way the entire campaigns of Bachman, Perry, Cain, Gingrich, and Santorum makes sense, or to make sense of Sheldon Adelson pouring $15 million into an already braindead Gingrich "campaign".)
FedUp_Queer
(975 posts)However, after going there and reading that stuff, wow...just wow. I used to be skeptical about people saying liberals just were not as bad as conservatives when it came to some pretty acerbic statements. After reading that site, I'm no longer skeptical. Conservatism=hate. Conservatism=violence. Conservatism=fear. I have a hard time thinking people could be so hateful, but right there it is in writing.
