Could security cameras have seen what happened with Martin / Zimmerman?

I noticed on one video of the property they zoomed in on several security cameras?

The key would be if they still have the footage or if they actually recorded or were just used for observation.

I know several people with security cameras around their homes, and none of them went through the trouble and expense of hooking them up and wiring them to just run off monitors and not record them. They either use a DVR system similar to a dvr cable box or a card for a PC. The questions are were they on at the time and was the incident within view of the camera.

It's not right that Zimmerman gets to frame the story.... Trayvon will never get another chance at ANYTHING.
They need to arrest his ass already; they should have charged GZ that night.
