and had to come up with a variation on the theme.

Was there something else I could dump on my head that would be painless, fun, easy to clean up, inherently safe, and empowering without being hazardous to my hair?

I told him I had no idea. Someone dumps a bucket of ice water over their head and challenges three other people to do the same.

I don't understand how ALS gets donations from that.

Help, please!

[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]The ice bucket is just publicity for ALS, which objective was achieved.

The person doing it is also supposed to make a donation... or make a donation instead of suffering the ice bucket.

But the embryo brigade is screaming about the evils of the ice-bucket challenge, which has been the most successful ALS fundraiser ever by orders of magnitude. Almost exclusively because of lefties, of course.

Seems to me the best thing to do is contribute to both! You should get beer and tacos after having ice dumped on yer head!

Piss off a reichwinger today!

who voice significant characters on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic have both done the IB challenge very publicly and dared their compatriots to do the same. It's viral in the brony community. Pony people are good people! Generally lefties, too, much to my surprise.

the way to enjoy yourself while we donate our hard earned money to help out Pro Choice.. safe legal abortions.

".. It's one of many offshoots of the Ice Bucket Challenge and inadvertently pits itself against pro-life ice bucket challenges that decline to donate to ALS because the ALS Association backs embryonic stem cell research."

Yes, because so-called "pro lifers" are not so Pro Life after all. They refuse to help babies and mothers after they are born if they need it. Refuse to help school children who need Lunch help at school. Never met a war they didn't like.. kinda like John McCain.

Now here's a delicious looking pic showing off the Taco and Beer Challenge in Texas! Excellent idea, Amanda Grimes~
