In 5yrs the driverless car will be more disruptive than the Model A to the US.

The US will be more impacted because of its love of the auto and its appeal as an instrument of freedom.

Asia is more 2 wheel systems and Eu more rail/bus, they will also be impacted.

The 2020 election will be very interesting.

What was so disruptive about the Model A? The Model T was a much bigger factor, I should think.

What about the 2020 election?

And the proper possessive form of "it" is "its." No apostrophe.

Trafic regulations are a major source of stress as it stands now. What will it do once the car itself has the task of following the rules of the road? ... no more speeding tickets, no more red light cameras, no more DUIs, blind and elderly people just as able to get themselves around as anybody else ...

There's a lot of upside to this.

Just think of the economic impact on towns and cities because of that. Hugely disruptive for many that survive based on that revenue stream.

Not that they should, but circumstances have forced many to rely on it.

Job loss without the political will and ideological structure to institute a GMI, subsidize and retrain, or otherwise do anything but punish the unemployed.

will optimize gas and/or battery usage, so that's a plus, too.

What will the negative parts of the "disruption" be?

But the US does not have the ideological structure or social attitudes to implement automation without it destroying society and leading to Elysium scenarios.
