Why was the west so excited to blow up the Libyan military and leadership over weak pretenses of crimes against the population and yet so reluctant to do anything serious against ISIS, who have been massacring their way across Syria and Iraq using former US military equipment, and even executing western citizens! Yes we are providing aid to the Kurds and Yazidis, but the US air force could bomb these Wahhabi's back to the Precambrian age if they wanted to. There is practically no air cover in the IRAQ/Syrian deserts. So far the only US military goal vs ISIS seems to be to keep them away from the Mosul Dam (Important) rather than to actually hurt their abilities to operate. Possibly the west still sees ISIS as an asset to counter Russian-backed Assad and Syria. Stray a little too far into Kurdistan and we reacts, otherwise nothing. Better yet, since Cruz is now running buddies with the Koch brothers, promoting war with ISIS, do they want war with ISIS?
