The way the background is shifting looks like strong winds moving the pole it's on forward and backward.

Had a feeling a few days ago when people on site talked of cracks in the glacier that it was coming.

It sort of looks like it's erupting along a crack instead of at the cone.

Earlier, the lava flow was not as noticeable and the rift part was not as tall or wide. Now the lave is visible and spreading and there seems to be more smoke rising from the rift area.

Very much different when I tried to look the other night at the same view and there was only a very faint glow to one side!
