Special case RESCUED from a puppy mill mom dog up for adoption (Deannie in Neb) red Boston Terrier

I've posted so many rescue stories in GD I felt this is appropriate.

OS

Our daughter adopted one of her sons. Here is what she asked me to post: This is a link to Rusty's mom. I really want to help her get adopted the best as I can. Can you post her link to your forums and stuff? She is going to need someone with a lot of patience and a big heart because she has lived her life in a kennel having liters of puppies so she will be difficult to house train and really doesn't seek out socialization yet.

I'm gonna email it around as much as I can to try and help her get adopted too!!

Deannie in Neb

ABOUT DEANNIE IN NEB
*Adoption Process starts with an Online Adoption Application you can find at www.adoptaboston.com.

My name is Deannie. I am 4.5 years old and weigh 20 pounds. I arrived in the care of MABTR pregnant. I was sold at a puppy mill auction as a result of my breeder closing down. I have had my puppies and now ready to move on. I am being fostered in Omaha, NE.

I am a sweet little girl once I learn I can trust you. I recently had babies so I am looking forward to moving onto being independent. I have lots to learn in the meantime.

Some additional notes about me:
House trained? Working on it
Leash trained? No
Crate trained? Yes
Rides well in car? Yes
Good with other dogs? Yes, I live with big and small dogs. I am not much of a playmate right now
Good with cats? Not yet tested
Good with young children? I live with two very busy boys
Good with strangers? Working on confidence
Shy or confident? Shy
Barks? No
Apartment qualified? No as I do not walk on a leash
Any Special needs or Health Issues? None
Adoption Fee: $250.00

All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.

MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who live in house, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not allowed. In these cases the leash law will be enforced.

MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, AR, and MN due to transport abilities.

If you are Interested in Adoption please complete our online adoption application. We will respond back to you within 24 hours of receiving your application.Adoption application at www.adoptaboston.com/adopt/

Interested in Donating to help cover the medical costs of this Boston go to www.adoptaboston.com/help/

Unfortunately we're too far away and have all we can have, even with a private kennel license here. One of ours is a half Boston, half French Bulldog rescue that had a traumatic early life. She's become such well behaved and loving family member of the pack, you would never guess the rough start she had.

Whoever is lucky enough to adopt Deannie is going to have a very special friend. If you can Steve, update us about how it goes. Thanks.
