(25,183 posts)The list includes Boston Oktoberfest and Boston Winter Lager, and the actual name of the Sam Adams brewery is The Boston Beer Company. Seems odd to me that two seasonal Sam Adams brews would be union, while the rest are somehow non-union. I have a feeling that the linked list is not accurate.

(24,146 posts)if i'm not drinking that, i'm drinking a beer from a local brewery. it's not unionized, but it's employee-owned and very green.

(99,659 posts)Lots of Minhas info below grain belt art.
Until I had to quit last December, Grain Belt was my union made beer of choice. It is still my avatar upper left. This is the beer sign in our home bar. Brewed in Minnesota.
FULL line of their beer here: http://minhasbrewery.com/our-brews
AMERICA'S
MOST HISTORIC BREWERY
The Minhas Craft Brewery is located in historic Monroe, WI, is the Midwest's oldest brewery and the second-oldest in the entire nation. It has survived the Depression, Prohibition, brushes with the mob and two major fires. We're now one of the top ten largest breweries in America.
With the Best Brewery Tour in Wisconsin, beer lovers from all over the state, Illinois and around the world come to experience our daily, guided craft brewery tours and beer tastings. We also house the largest brewery memorabilia museum in the United States.

(23,156 posts)not the big bland brews. Although it is nice to know that a number of well known beers are union made.

(14,910 posts)Many of the microbreweries that we support here locally are employee owned and operated.
We're also in the heart of the Finger Lakes wine region...so we have a lot of options when it comes to libations!

(2,337 posts)It's like a "Who's who" of piss beer.
I'm not reducing myself to drinking swill over a union affiliation.
