Labor Day 2014 Employers Look At Your Paycheck As A Charitable Undeserved Handout. Think About It.

Attitudes of employers since Reagan have changed drastically. Workers are no longer considered employees or partners. Now they are only "associates" and disposable ones at that. It is amazing that so many workers now accept their status and remain antiunion and anti government regulation. Run as a labor person and you "ass is grass" and you lose. A union associated candidate cannot even think of running. They are attacked as a communist Marxist thug and workers run the other way.

When we have over 200 million workers and only about 100 million full time jobs something is really wrong. Rather than create more decent jobs for Americans corporations are creating fewer and eliminating many. The largest job growth is oversees at stave jobs. And the biggest job growth here are contract or temp and part time jobs.

Happy Labor Day! We are moving back to medieval times.

I think the handwriting is on the wall on wages and benefits. If you really look at job trends full time jobs are diminishing at a time when the labor force is growing. Just recently on Papantonia it was pointed out that of the over 200 million workers there are only about 100 million full time jobs. So what kind are the rest of these jobs? And what is the pay.

The media is lying and covering up about the real state of jobs and it is the business community's responsibility and NOT Obama's. Then again the corporations owns the media.

employers won't be content until employees pay them for
the privilege of holding a McJob at their crappy business.

Conservatives and GOPPERS pretty much believe that having a decent paying job is a privilege. Somehow we have gotten into a twisted view on labor issues. It seems like even a lot of effected workers have been convinced to embrace this view and abandon their rights as workers. It is such a demented view that serves the super rich and corporations. And it has been developed as a meme carefully since Reagan. I do not know how you get workers who are doing ok and hold this view to understand they are next when it comes to going begging to even get any job. And it certainly is a hard lesson for so many boomers who seemed to accept it during their younger years. Now many of them are SOL. Ironically many of them are still pro business GOP types even as they starve economically at 45 +.
