Raleigh student asks Gingrich to 'Newt-er' Obama

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A student at Raleigh's Broughton High School used a play on Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich's name to make a request Monday.

Gingrich was speaking to an auditorium full of students during a campaign stop and was taking questions when it happened.

A student at the back stood up and told Gingrich "I'm a big fan of you" and that President Obama is running an "unsustainable economy."

He then asked: "I was wondering if you could do us all a favor and Newt-er Obama?"

I mean Newt must be slipping pretty bad if he can't afford rent-a-cops to bludgeon anyone who would break the decorum of asking from the list of acceptable scripted questions.
