Allen West daydreams about the McCarthy era

Rep. Allen West channeled Joe McCarthy in a town hall event in Florida that he’s “heard” that up to 80 House Democrats are Communist Party members, the Palm Beach Post reports.

How much you want to bet that Allen West talks privately about the 'good old days' during the McCarthy era, and daydreams about bringing back the House Committee on Un-American Activities?

Something tells me that he probably wouldn't have gotten as far as he is now back in those days.
