Such as proposed legislation or a statement form a GOP lawmaker that supports prison time for denying the existence of God?

I've never once heard anybody even remotely imply anything of the sort.

I have a problem with this type of thing because it moves debate and discussion outside of the bounds of reality. Here in reality, nobody in the GOP is proposing that. What's more, the freedom of religion we have enshrined in our constitution has broad support across the political spectrum.

Yes, many Republicans are religious and and yes, their religion can encourage intolerant behavior. But nothing like what you describe is in the cards. At all.

The more time people spend worrying about paranoid, fictitious fantasies, the less time and energy there is to deal with all of the ACTUAL bad things Republicans REALLY ARE doing, such as gutting the social safety net and working to repeal the AHCA.

We don't agree on everything....He's a musician...Facebook is good for publicity...

I work in the corporate environment....I have to be careful what I post.....
