From what has been reported so far they arrested individuals for civil disobedience. That is a form of protest that has been effectively used throughout our history. Workers are actually arrested every day of the week, even Labor Day itself.

They militarized police exist to keep the unequal status quo that protects business and NOT citizens. Steal Bread as a worker and its jail. Steal wages and it is just the usual practice of doing business. No different than 18th century France. Les Miserables tells the tale. Steal bread and you are hunted for life.

and they all know anybody who works and wants wages they can live on is pure scum. Cops are just following orders from their masters. They haven't worked for us for decades.

Hauling out and dusting off guillotines seems like a better and better idea.
