(5,756 posts)You'd be surprised how many earthquakes happen every day. I used to be the Disaster Recovery Manager for a company in OR so I monitored the USGS earthquake notices. There are so many magnitude 2-3 that happen every day you would be surprised.
You're going to have to get closer to shore or on the mainland and a higher magnitude before anyone really takes notice.

(5,756 posts)Seems oddly coincidental that we're having all these earthquakes. Hope the juan de fuca plate off the Oregon coast doesn't move. That would most likely be like the Christmas earthquake in Indonesia that killed 200k+ people.
