Bush's Daughters are Not Republicans

Neither of former President George W. Bush's twin daughters are registered as Republicans, the New York Daily News reports.

Jenna Bush Hager mistakenly signed up with the Independence Party in New York when she meant to declare herself an independent. Records show her sister, Barbara, is registered to vote in Texas as unaffiliated with any party.

I don't think Laura is much of a Republican either. McCains daughter is a Democrat most likely. I say welcome them.

Have you watched her show? It is a political show and she is all for gay marriage, abortion rights for women, MJ legalization, immigration reform. If she is Republican, I wish they all believed in those issues too.

She's a Republican, but she wants the party to modernize so it doesn't go obsolete. She still intends to protect the core issue of Republicanism - keeping the rich rich, and everyone else poor.

When it was suggested she might leave the party, her response:

Following the April 2009 party switch by Senator Arlen Specter from Republican to Democratic, conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh suggested that many Republicans wished both John McCain and Meghan McCain would leave too.[30] Meghan McCain's tweet in response was, "RED TIL I'M DEAD BABY!!! I love the republican party enough to give it constructive criticism, I love my party and sure as hell not leavin!"

They did not want their father to run for President, and there have always been rumors that the reason was is because they oppose many of his political views.
