Another day where people who have NEVER been close to being THE PRESIDENT criticizing a person WHO IS the PRESIDENT...
Why do we care about optics, why can't ANY PRESIDENT make a statement and be allowed to adjust that statement as circumstances changes. All of this childish "you said this or you said that"
Everybody seams to knows what THE PRESIDENT should do, but this is only based on their LIMITED intel.....anyway, MTP....???

Funny how Todd says it is not his job to make the GOP tell the truth...just report what they say...but he attacks Democrats all the time...he is GOP and choosing him for this spot shows the conservative bent of this network under new conservative ownership.

Carissa Brennan Chuck Todd demands RIGIDITY from Obama. Probably the least desirable aspect we need in a President.

Dave Dehny He doesn't care if the circumstances changes or if he's obstructed, he wants the POTUS to stay true to EVERYTHING he's said since 2008.

Oh, that wasn't Bill O'Reilly badgering/interrupting the President of the United States this morning? That was Chuck Todd? NO Difference...looked like his high school project to interview the President. Soooo not ready for prime time Chuck...maybe FOX...but not MTP.

I was very disappointed with Chuck Todd's presumptuous questioning and rude body language which would be disrespectful to any guest- much less the President. Todd's style is no improvement over David Gregory who was similarly pompous, cynical and assuming. Maybe this should be no surprise, as Todd was Gregory's boss, but I expected Todd to be better than that. Gotcha journalism at it's worst.

MTP made a huge mistake hiring this guy to boost their ratings. He is one of THE most arrogant men on cable TV and worse than Gregory

The new faces and guests on MTP looked a lot like the old faces and guests on MTP. Its like doing a home renovation and reinstalling all the same old crap you were suppose to demo

First impression: Todd snarky and antagonist towards President. Ergo: still out of his league regardless if he is a political wonk. His "in-your-face" delivery is more than off-putting. A good interviewer knows to allow a guest to express their opinion and less of Todd's gotcha approach. Maybe, he should hone up on past Russert tapes to learn how it is done.

Bon Bell That's the last time I will EVER watch JoDeHo on MTP, If I see his face there again, I will never come back to MTP... Andrea looked better only because it would be impossible to be worse than Joe.

Another day where people who have NEVER been close to being THE PRESIDENT criticizing a person WHO IS the PRESIDENT...
People who've never been the President? Something like 7 billion or so. People who've been the President? 4 or 5 living? Are the only people who get to criticize the President a couple of Bushes, Clinton, and Carter?
We have 'limited intel' in large part because the administration keeps secrets from the American people. They 'welcome the debate' when somebody leaks about immoral or illegal behaviour, but they didn't 'welcome the debate' before somebody leaked.
(Note that these are not 'Obama-specific' complaints, but are the same no matter who is President.)
(Edit: I really like the line about the demolition and re-installation, though. That was sharp ; )

It doesn't matter what happened in the interview, Todd is the villain so he must be bashed, Obama is the hero so he must be defended.

In the spot with the President, he kept holding his hand in the air and flicking, a diversionary distracting gesture.
