It was first stated he had a bloody nose by one newspaper and then the Sentinel said broken and then it was verified by Oliver, Taafe and also his brother stating he had a BROKEN nose.

When your nose gets dinged, not only is that a blood gusher that is unbelievably hard to turn off, but the rest of your face *always* shows a related result. And that part does not go away for hours, at a minimum, and often, for days.

If Treyvon busted his nose up, believe me, the video would have unquestionable evidence of that. That his face shows no sign of anything like this on the video says that anyone advancing this kind of story is completely full of shit.

I don't see how you can get a broken nose and not have a nosebleed.

The first time was a pretty serious break, too-- clear across the bone. You wouldn't believe how bad it hurt. Everything just went black and I heard someone yelling and it took a second to realize it was me. The second time was just a fracture on the left side. No bleeding, no bruising either time. I don't know if that's unusual or not.

I think that is really unusual.

I'm just taking a stab at this, but over many years of athletics, I think I've seen about 100 broken noses, give or take a few, and well over a thousand bloody noses. Add in watching sports on television and those numbers go up considerably. No bleeding, no bruising? That is pretty freaking unusual, in my experience.

I've ever seen bled like a son of a gun. He didn't have a spot of blood on him, so I conclude that there is no way it could have been broken.

Just getting smacked in the nose without breaking it will cause a gush of blood.
