This U.S Ally Beheaded 19 People Last Month One of Them was for Practicing Sorcery

And no, it was not Palau.

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2014/09/06/this-u-s-ally-beheaded-19-people-last-month-one-of-them-was-for-practicing-sorcery/

The United States like many nations has had a longstanding pattern of cherry picking which groups and nation-states get to commit atrocious human rights abuses and which ones don’t. Of those one of the most rampant abusers of human life is Saudi Arabia. The U.S government and its citizens are reacting to video of the beheading of journalist Joel Sotloff by ISIS. Yet the U.S government and its citizens seem to largely not care that Saudi Arabia has beheaded 19 people in the month of August. Eight of these beheadings are for non-violent offenses. Seven are for drug smuggling and one is for sorcery....

“Any execution is appalling, but executions for crimes such as drug smuggling or sorcery that result in no loss of life are particularly egregious,” said Sarah Leah Whitson, Middle East and North Africa Director in a press release. “There is simply no excuse for Saudi Arabia’s continued use of the death penalty, especially for these types of crimes.”...

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi government news agency, on August 18, authorities executed four Saudi men in Najran province. A court had previously convicted the men – identified as Hadi al-Mutlaq, Awadh al-Mutlaq, Mufreh al-Yami, and Ali al-Yami – of attempting to smuggle hashish into the country.

Hajras in al-Qurey a mentally ill man was sentenced to be publicly beheaded on January 16, 2013. The man allegedly smuggled drugs into Saudi Arabia and attacked a police officer during his and his son’s arrest. Al-Qurey’s son confessed to smuggling drugs, but said his father was unaware of drugs being in the car. Al-Qurey’s son also said that his father was put into a solitary confinement cell to intimidate him into confessing. He also alleges that his father was beaten which caused him to plead guilty despite originally maintaining his pleas that he is innocent.

Yeah I know we don't always follow this rule, but generally we should probably not being telling other countries how to enforce their laws on their own people, right?

We have our own barbaric methods of execution, after all.

When a non-state (non-recognized, at least) group like ISIL beheads citizens of OTHER countries, yes those other countries have a right to be upset. Don't you think so?

I think it was to have a blade sharp enough that it passes through the neck like butter. In the video it showed more or less a pocket knife doing the killing. The Saudi's use that long extremely sharp knife that is akin to a guillotine cut. Our IV death in prison is worse than their knife (IMO).

ISIS is not a sovereign nation with it's own constitution. As abhorrent as it is, Saudi Arabia is established as a sovereign nation as is North Korea and any other nation with abhorrent laws. Had SA beheaded other nationals without a trial, without a national or international standing, without sovereignty, they would be treated like ISIS. Those two government regimes are not equivalents.

Islam Karimov is the long-time dictator of Uzbekistan and a U.S. ally. In the so-called Andijan massacre, his troops opened fire on peaceful protestors. The incident has been likened to Tienanmen Square. More recently, he reportedly ordered the house arrest of his own daughter.

Yet everyone from Bill Clinton to Michael Bloomberg to Donald Rumsfeld has praised him:

"I am delighted to be back in Uzbekistan. I've just had a long and very interesting and helpful discussion with the president ... Uzbekistan is a key member of the coalition's global war on terror. And I brought the president the good wishes of President Bush and our appreciation for their stalwart support in the war on terror ... Our relationship is strong and has been growing stronger."
- US Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld in Tashkent, February 2004

Why? Because, as the Asia Times explained, "... Karimov in Uzbekistan is as essential a piece in the great oil and gas chessboard as Hamid Karzai in Afghanistan."

The executioner stands behind the subject. He has a giant wide sword. He pokes the subject in the back this causes the subject to tense all of his muscles stabalizing the head and the blade is swung at that instant.
Now if you have a guy who mass murdered and raped then I would look the other way. But these Saudi assholes jist love the sport and will execute any poor person for any reason.
