Blacks Aren't Educated Voters

http://crooksandliars.com/2014/09/georgia-state-rep-voting-too-convenient

(GA State Senator Fran) Millar wrote:

Now we are to have Sunday voting at South DeKalb Mall just prior to the election. Per Jim Galloway of the AJC, this location is dominated by African American shoppers and it is near several large African American mega churches such as New Birth Missionary Baptist. Galloway also points out the Democratic Party thinks this is a wonderful idea – what a surprise. I’m sure Michelle Nunn and Jason Carter are delighted with this blatantly partisan move in DeKalb.

Is it possible church buses will be used to transport people directly to the mall since the poll will open when the mall opens? If this happens, so much for the accepted principle of separation of church and state.

After being criticized for his remarks, he defended them in yet another Facebook post, writing that he "would prefer more educated voters than an increase in the number of voters."

Why? Because blacks overwhelmingly vote Democratic.

So instead of moderating their policies their solution is to suppress the black vote.

Blacks are probably the most knowledgeable about public policy and don't buy GOP bullshit.

and who's screwing them, which is a lot more than can be said for a lot of non-rich white voters who consistently vote GOP even though the GOP has been screwing them, too.

There wouldn't be a fucking republican in office if their voters were a tad bit more educated as to what the GOPers really do.

It hasn't even happened, and yet Mr. Millar thinks that the churches will be busing their congregants to the polling place. I'm not sure how that violates the separation of church and state. Is he advocating for a three-day waiting period between going to church and casting a ballot? Also, how does Mr. Millar know those voters aren't educated? Because they don't vote Republican? We know it has nothing to do with race, because nothing in Georgia is ever about race.

I wonder if Fox will jump on Millar's nonsense as part of their never-ending War on Christianity series? Holding one's breath waiting is contraindicated.

... say that the separation of church and state is desirable. Does his voting record demonstrate this in any tangible way?
