Grovelbot, but I threw a few bucks at him every once in awhile and he left me alone, for a few months anyway. This went on for a few years but I think he finally took the hint. Haven't heard from him in a while.

Grovelbot looked like a certain creature from the paleolithic era. And that's when I said, "Dammit Loch Ness monster, stop comin' 'round here lookin' fo money!!"

But i wasn't the only one - and it was some one who I rather they hadn't.

But it was amusing rather than offensive.

A few times, via PMs which were clearly "hey, I am interested in getting to know you better".
Maybe 3-4 times since I joined in 2008.

Once I mention Mr. dixie, that is the end of it.

But, I have found 2 very special friends here on DU, and gotten to know quite a few smart, funny, sharp witted DU members a bi more via PMs.

I'd hit on me. I'd hit on many people but I think the site-format and relative anonymity make that awkward. Still...nobody has ever hit on me on DU. I hit on someone a few times but they thought I was goofing around.

I'm actually surprised that there isn't a "singles" group here - everybody else gets one.
