Mrs. Romney, I respect your choice

to be a stay at home mom. My daughter does not work, but cares for her children and home. My choice was not really a choice at all, but it was necessary to work to support my two children because my ex-husband decided to leave.

My question regarding choices when it comes to your husband and yourself has to do more with broader issues. Do you support the choice of the woman who either does not want to be a mother or would like to time her pregnancies through the the use of contraceptives? Do you support the choice of the woman or girl who would terminate a pregnancy due to health concerns or because she was a victim of rape or incest?

Beyond reproductive issues, do you support the choice of a woman to demand equal treatment in the workplace in both wages and treatment. Do you support the choice of a woman to teach her children something other than mainstream Christianity and have those values respected.

Our choices may not be the same as yours but we deserve respect as well when they differ.

I would submit is that Ann Romney's 'choice' wasn't even like most working womens' problems.....her husband was born immensely wealthy. He had millions in treasure and tons of social advantage when the two of them began their family. I would submit that her choices amounted to which housekeeper, nanny references, (we already know they had gardeners), or whether her house assistant would pick up the cleaning and drop the mail. My mother, sisters, and I had to work when our dad passed so that we could contribute to the stability of our household. That choice is VASTLY different than Ann's choice. So, no, Mitt. She isn't giving you insight or good stuff to say by rote because she does not
Get it either
