"Walker becomes master of deception" *PEGGED* by Frank Bennett, Salem
You have been weighed, measured and found wanting.
Scott Walker has been traveling around the country raising funds for his re election campaign. He claims he didn't know the Gogebic Taconite mining company gave his endorsed campaign fond $700,000 dollars. Does he really think Wisconsin voters are that naive and dumb to believe his lie? If he said it was only a half a million dollars I might have ha ha believed him.
Gov. Walker backed Gogebic mining in Northern Wisconsin as fast as he could by forcing the DNR to speed up and shorten the two-year permit process. Gogebic was in a hurry to get started and threatened to abandon the project if Gov. Walker didn't give his approval.
Scott Walker didn't care about the Native Americans living on a reservation near the mining area that were against the project. The DNR had environmental concerns about the long term effects of water runoff going into the surrounding area and reservation wells. Gov. Walker encouraged his Republican majority legislators to pass laws favoring Gogebic mining in Wisconsin. His blind ambition was to add more jobs at any cost to support his unrealistic campaign promise to add 250,000 new jobs if he were elected governor.
When Scott Walker ran for governor he never mentioned his intention to eliminate labor unions with Act 10. He also claims he knew nothing about his staff doing campaigning for him on state time. He can't figure out why he had to face a recall election.
