Early voting in Ohio blocked
With just sixteen hours before polling stations were to open in Ohio, the Supreme Court on Monday afternoon blocked voters from beginning tomorrow to cast their ballots in this years general election. By a vote of five to four, the Justices put on hold a federal judges order providing new opportunities for voting before election day, beyond what state leaders wanted.
The order will remain in effect until the Court acts on an appeal by state officials. If that is denied, then the order lapses. It is unclear when that scenario will unfold. The states petition has not yet been filed formally.

OP
It's because they don't want as many people voting, especially black people.

I'm a huge advocate of early voting...I can't understand why anyone would oppose giving people more time to vote.

Voter suppression has been happening all over the country, especially in red states. This is because higher turnout favors Dems.

Cast early or late but you will never be certain if it is counted. Diebold will walk you through it!
These folks have no shame.

It should say "earlier voting". They already get 28 days. I'm in favor of the 35 they were trying to get, but this is not a huge loss. Need to focus on states where they've really pulled back on early voting.
