Look for misandry/misogynist war as a new phenomena since Hillary Clinton is so

popular. False flag, sockpuppet misandry online that will create a wedge issue that will keep men, and some women, from totally embracing a female leader. The GOP has already fomented a misandry/misogynist war on the DU in 2013. Don't fall for it. Such wars and characters never existed on liberal forums until Hillary showed an interest in the presidency again and Obama won with the help of single women in 2012.

It's a little naive to think Republicans were the reason there was division the last time Hillary ran though. An awful lot of long time DUers were staunch PUMAs after Obama got the nom.

To try to back up their claims as to why they think ALL feminists are man-haters, or that we blame all men for every wrong in the world done against women, etc. Well, news-flash, RWers: folks like Dworkin, or Kendall, don't speak for the large majority of us. We aren't like that.

If you got to know us, you'd realize that we're actually pretty nice people, and that quite a few of us are guys ourselves......and that's all. /rant over

I guess you must since you're asking if I've looked at your non-DU internet presence. Thanks for confirming my suspicion.

She doesn't have that high a profile, and you're shouting about her and not Amanda Mercotte or somebody. Is the reason you're obsessed with her because she's a feminist of color? Considering your frothing responses to the words "white privilege" I'm beginning to suspect that might be the root of the problem. (See, that didn't even cost you $100/hr. You're welcome.)

Okay, now you've gone too far.

First of all, there is no "obsession". Okay? Let's just nip that bullshit in the bud right now. Secondly, if you absolutely must know(and since I recall you asking me never to PM you.....we might as well leave in the open), you may remember that #SolidarityIsForWhiteWomen crapola? Yeah, that caused a fair bit of trouble.

What I'd like to know is why you have suddenly come out like this, out of the blue, when said person has only been mentioned maybe a few of times over this past month and a half? Is there some sort of grudge you have? Sure is beginning to sound like it, especially with the false insinuation of supposed bigotry(and don't tell me you didn't!).

with similar views, including much more visible ones. I'm not the first person to notice. Hell, another DUer who is on twitter (I'm not, so don't bother looking) messaged her there to ask why you're posting about her so often and to express a safety concern.

I only found out about that exchange after asking that person if she knew why you were so obsessed with a feminist on twitter, had she blocked you or what?

So yeah, you're obsessed with her, other people have noticed, and it's concerning.

Well, whoever this other person is, assuming this actually happened(though I have my doubts), is either completely paranoid or full of shit.

So yeah, you're obsessed with her, other people have noticed, and it's concerning.

I'll state this again. You are literally the only person who has voiced a complaint. And not one peep out of anyone before today over this alleged "obsession". So that tells me there's something else going on, and I think I'm beginning to realize what.

(P.S., and no, I have not once talked to her, nor do I care to.)

If somebody kept posting about you on some website you don't use because you said something they didn't like a year ago, and they did it using your real name rather than your nom de internet, would you possibly find that concerning?

would not resort to that? Has not resorted to that? Right after the 2012 election that Obama won with the help of single women a misandry/misogynist war broke out on the DU. And sucked a lot of people in to fighting on one side or the others. Facts are that one thing the vast majority of democrats agree on is women's right. And that scares the GOP. So they log on here and other places and create a wedge issue that serves them and makes us pissed off at each other. Please don't fall for it.

most likely they are completely honest, so there is only partial calling them out on their attack. And we get attacked when we were not attacking any democratic position on any issue, but simply that our issues are used against us by outsiders. It is tough. But better to plug along and call out the most blatant wedge issues - I think. Even that Harry Potter actress stood up in front of the UN to call out misandry. And I thought then...it could easily be bullshit and here someone is standing at the UN calling it out, as if hating men is in the hearts of women and a sudden plague around the world, which it is not. And I said...I gotta say something.

RW nut jobs, that's who:

Nice try. But you fail to understand that their reasoning is wholly different than that of those on the left who reject WP. In all honesty, the right only really talks about WP so they can use it as a bludgeon against the left, so they can ridicule us, etc.; you know what, though? Deep down inside, they actually secretly wholeheartedly embrace this imaginary "privilege", being the hypocrites that they are.

Whereas those of us on the left who reject it realize it's flaws and failures as a teaching and are actually trying to find a better way to educate people, even as it's more zealous adherents continue to berate us & attack us. But, suit yourself.
