Whackjob customer story

I work on Saturdays at a deli for a little extra cash to supplement my income from my 9-5 job during the week. Every Saturday, this one guy comes in for his sandwich, same thing each time, extra onions and tomatoes. He has always been very nice.

So, I ring him up and he asks for a plastic cup for water, which I give him. He then says, "Is it clean?" to which I reply, "Yes, these cups are all clean."

"Because, you know, Ebola," he says.

"But you have to come into contact with bodily fluids," I say

"Oh no no no! That's what they're telling you on the TV, but they don't want us to know the truth! "Humanitarian" Bill Gates owns the patent on Ebola!"

I just smile and nod as he continues to delve deeper into insanity and then moves on to how Christians are the only really important people in the world.

Had I not been working and encountered this guy in a non-business environment I would have walked away.

It's why they're skipping from Window 8 to Windows 10.

Windows 9 had an undisclosed virus...this must be where he stores it ???

to even stand up, much less go out for a sandwich. So I guess he has that going for him. He can function with a malfunctioning brain.

I saw a poster on another site the other day posting links to prove there is a patent on the ebola virus. The poster was claiming Gates was the owner. I just googled it and there seems to be a few links suggesting the same thing. Without clicking on any of them, I am sure they all lead back to the same source.

So, yea, there ya go.

there are a lot of conspiracies which posit that the global super-rich will either feel the need to protect themselves or regard themselves as so uber-smart as to indulge in a little world-engineer and they are, as we speak, plotting ways to trim the excess population. AIDs is usually attributed to them. Any weird disease coming out of Africa, since Africa is regarded as some Continent-wide lab space. Vaccines are suspect since they can be used to spread toxins as well as protect people from disease. And there is Bill Gates with all his humanitarian causes: one of the super rich caught vaccine in hand.

To underscore this, I heard the whole the theory "explained" to me by a local cafe owner - a very nice, respected local long-term business owner - just a few days ago. And I've heard it manyyyyyy times before, usually entangled in 9/11 conspiracy theories.

One thing the rich do not "get" about the poor: massive maltreatment and denigration gets reflected back as massive paranoia and fear of decimation. What seems like the random irrational opinion of a "whack job" might prove to be the wide spread irrational fear of thousands of people, triggering outbreaks of mob violence (where the people mainly end up hurting other poor people instead of that Super Elite Conspiracy that is supposedly causing all their suffering).
