(3,431 posts)I wait for the 6th court of appeals, which is far more conservative,I believe. Perhaps the SCOTUS is just waiting for one of the appeals courts to disagree in order to revisit their decision.

As for your son, I will say to you what I told parents who freaked out over having to explain The Clenis, or Janet Jackson's nipple, or Miley Cyrus: your kids already know and really, really don't want to talk to you about your sex life. Have the wedding planner talk to him. Trust me.

and the fact that the Las Vegas Review Journal, a paper run by a truly hard core right winger had to publish this, all the more sweet.
Wow, now I hope my circuit court , the 6th covering Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee goes this way as well, but the swing vote Judge Jeffery Sutton, appointed by Shrub, asked something to the effect..."isn't the ballot box the best way to handle this?"
I am so happy for my sisters and brothers in Nevada and Idaho. Will this also cover Arizona, Montana, Alaska and Guam in the same way?

(17,656 posts)Not until the 9th Circuit directs the state to allow them!!!!!!!!!!
Instead, he said he is going to meet with some other Republicans in the state and lawyers to discuss the possibility of taking this case clear to the Supreme Court!!!!!!!
He also said that Idaho is not prepared to allow gay marriages, so gay marriages are not going to take place here anytime soon!!!!!
And yet this assklown -- Butch Otter -- is running for re-election!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
