I have some questions about the VA.

I am a retired Vet. had a few things happened to me while I was in.
some of it documented in my med record, some not.
how long and how many hoops am I going to have to jump thru
to get a claim processed?

thanks

File a claim, get it started. You can fill papers yourself to start. n/t UTUSN Oct 2014 #3

forms. You need to have all your information gathered up, though.

Make sure everything is filled out or they will reject it, which will delay the process.

They often have offices at VA hospitals. You can contact one of the groups to find one, but the best bet is to ask around among vets in your community first to find a good one.

A service rep knows the claims process, can answer your questions, and will handle all the submissions and correspondence for your case, relieving you of that burden.

Good luck!
