income inequality is bad for everyone

Here is a Ted talk from Richard G. Wilkinson from Nottingham England, about the effect that great income inequality has on a society. As the gap widens, the society *across the board* suffers. He articulates what studies have been revealing for awhile, that by almost every measure of a happy healthy society, the U.S. is ranked at the bottom because of income inequality.
