Not quite sure exactly how they enforce that, myself.

"Do you believe Mohammed is the final prophet of God?"
"Yes, absolutely!"
"Do you really?"
"...Well, shit, I guess you got me."

That said, it's pretty difficult to "prove" who is a Muslim and who isn't. So long as you're there with a goal of hajj they probably won't bother you. It will be easier, of course if you are with a group. And you'd better know how to pray--if you don't have that down, you're outed. That's Musllim 101, that bit.

When Malcolm X went to Mekkah, I doubt he had the Qu'ran memorized!

Many believe that people are BORN Muslim, and it's bad parents, environment, whatever, that pull them away from the One True Faith.

Oh my bad, no Jews allowed in SA.

There are some people who consider SA a racist/ bigoted country.

The thing she noticed the most was the absolutely extreme contrast between the oil princes, and the rest of the country.

The oil princes have the best, that money can buy.
Conspicuous consumption is rampant, with gold-plated toilets.

The rest are lucky to have dirt for a floor.
