Funny how Republicans get incensed over some small program

for the arts, science or the environment that cost $50 to $100 million over 10 years.
But oppose a tax that will raise $50 to $100 BILLION over the same period because it doesn't really cut the deficit all that much.

But you can't have a Buffet rule here and a Buffet rule there adding up to a trillion plus. There's a lot more to go.

the billion figures are spread over a relative few ...

Remember, if the liberals' "magic bullet" (usually part of an attempted fix) doesn't solve problem X immediately, it shouldn't even be considered ... but conservatives' "talking point X" is "part of a solution" ...
