I think (and urge any who may see this) that black communities in every city

should expand the movement in Ferguson to their own cities and communities and streets.

Make it go national. Now. This is the time.

That's it. Thoughts?

ETA: And all that can see the injustice should join them.

The people of Ferguson have done an exemplary job of waking a lot of people up to the real problem posed by militarized police.

Everybody needs to get on the "demilitarize the cops" bandwagon. All those guns are pointed at us and have been since the drug war turned "protect and serve" into "oppress."

My OP was not meant to offend anyone so please do not take it that way.

By the way, I'm a middle-aged, pissed-off white man calling for this. So, yes, it's not just black people who should be outraged. That's only common sense, after all.
