Heads up, dirty tricks in social media happening here. Watch out for them.
A recently added twitter account that looked from the logo like Young Democrats of Hawaii was actually a fake account created by the other guys. Posts that were very unflattering to Democratic candidates are even now going out to followers including a pretty good amount of local media people, written as if they are by the Democratic party. Not cool, and against the rules…you are not supposed to impersonate anybody.
They've also created a fake Facebook page.
And are endlessly editing the wikipedia page for Hawaii Democrats.
The wiki page is not really important, but the twitter and Facebook pages are ugly and really dirty tricks.
Watch out for it. Hope it doesn't happen anywhere else.
