People wake up feeling sluggish at the time. It's usually nothing. He didn't have a fever that day, so he has nothing to be ashamed of.

It is thoroughly unrealistic to expect a person who is not clearly symptomatic (and feeling sluggish does not constitute a clear symptom) to put his or her life on hold.

Bowlers do not bowl with sweaty fingers. They also do not drip sweat all over the lanes.

Most bowlers use rosin even when their fingers are not sweating. Why? Because the don't want to lose their grip on the ball. I don't even pick up my beer bottle with the hand I throw my ball with. Why, because I don't want moisture on that hand.

As long as he didn't puke, shit or bleed into the ball or the rented shoes, he posed no risk.

if a bowler is using the air to dry their sweaty hands, then they can't very well be sticking their sweaty fingers into any balls now can they?

It will slip out of their hand and will drop it defeating the purpose of bowling which is throwing the ball down the lane and knocking the pins down. That's why the air vents are there. That's why people use rosin. That's why people don't pick up their beer bottles with their bowling hand. That's why people don't wash their hands after they pee while bowling. People can't bowl with sweaty hands.

come in contact with the virus to contract it. So yeah, if one picks their nose after shaking the sweaty hand of someone dripping with disease, I suppose they could catch it. Or let's say you're a nail biter and your habit is so bad that you chew them down to the quick or gnaw off your hangnails til your fingers are raw, yeah, I suppose you can get it. I think it's quite a stretch though.

However, as the crisis eases up and better tracking of cases continues, that might change.

They have isolated the virus from sweat, saliva and tears. So don't get all kissy face with anybody who just got back from west Africa and is running a fever and feels queasy.

They know it's present in semen, vaginal secretions and breast milk for up to 3 months after recovery. I don't think it's been documented as an STD but that is very likely to change.

City officials say Spencer acknowledged riding the subway and taking a cab to a Brooklyn bowling alley in the past week before he started showing symptoms.

According to a rough timeline provided by city officials, the doctor's symptoms developed Wednesday, prompting him to isolate himself in his apartment.

When he felt worse Thursday, he and his fiance made a joint call to authorities to detail his symptoms and his travels. EMTs in full Ebola gear arrived and took him to Bellevue in an ambulance surrounded by police squad cars.

Did he piddle on a toilet seat or on his rented shoe? Either on the plane or bowling alley. I know seat up, and urinals. But there may be a chance of a drip. He was near his girlfriend just today. He wasn't feeling well for the past few days they're saying on MSNBC. Why the fuck go bowling, go in a uber car and on trains. This guy was careless IMO. And he's a "doctor". He should have acted as though he was exposed and stayed away from people for 21 days.
