Second poll in two days shows Nunn leading in Georgia

Yesterday the Republican-leaning Insider Advantage poll showed Michelle Nunn leaging 47% to 45% over her GOP opponent. She's leading among female voters and has a slight lead among independents. In that poll, Perdue now holds only a seven point lead among men. The takeway from that poll was the percent of undecided voters is low in this race and unless something unusual takes place, this race would seem to be headed for a runoff. But clearly at this point Ms. Nunn has the momentum.

TODAY - A new CNN/ORC poll in Georgia finds Michelle Nunn (D) has a lead over David Perdue (R) in the U.S. Senate race, 47% to 44%.

In a hypothetical runoff if neither reaches 50% on Election Day, Nunn still holds a small margin over Perdue, 51% to 47%. Looks like she siphons off some libertarian voters.

My nightmare is that it goes to a runoff, and this is the deciding seat for control of the Senate n2doc Oct 2014 #3

So Georgia currently has 2 Republican Senators and one of those seats could possibly go to a Democrat in 2014? Election night is going to be a finger biter in several states. K & R for exposure.

The Koch's et al. will probably spend a billion dollars to keep her from winning in that case.

That has to be about the dumbest moment of any candidate running for office this year. Maybe this decade or century.

You have to question Perdue's ability to make decisions if he thought that was a good idea.
