the important point is that Goldman was active ever so many decades ago and yet, here we are, again.
and, it wasn't until I was well into my adult hood that I ever heard of her, and of the early labor movements.

They teach all the wrong things at school, don't they?

discussing. Whether we will have a certain amount of food stamps or get our social security raise? Yes, these elections definitely make a difference and I think it's worth the time it takes to vote try to influence those decisions. So, no, don't sit it out. But will things change on a systemic level? Will they let us vote out capitalism? Nope, they will give us a variety of corporate-approved candidates and let us pick. Emma was referring to the macro-level discussion.
