By some PAC. It touted the gun laws he passed in Ct, said crime is down and that his opponent would repeal them, making it easier for felons to buy guns. It ended by saying the republican is soft on crime. I loved it! More democrats should use this argument.

(2,331 posts)I'm genuinely curious. My college roommate was Donald Williams, who just retired as president of the Ct state senate, who from what I could tell from the bills he helped pass did a good, progressive job. How has Malloy affected that or do you think I'm mistaken about Don too?

(72,790 posts)Guns laws don't really prevent anyone from getting a hold of a gun and killing someone.
Just like drug laws don't really prevent anyone from not being able to purchase drugs.
You could ban all guns, and people would still get a hold of one and kill if that is their intent.
