My first election that I was able to vote was 1968

but not the first election that I followed the candidates or election results...
This is the first election that I can remember the DNC chairman has remained quite except for a few token TV appearances where she has refused to recognize Obama accomplishments or discuss his policies.
The only comments I have heard her make about some tight races is... well nothing,
So with our DNC leadership it appears that she dont really give a shit
So Just maybe its time to replace DNC Chair Wasserman Schultz. Howard Dean where are you when we need you the most.
Howard Dean has made more appearances on political talk shows to comment on our candidates than our current DNC chairwoman.
...So maybe the Democrats are in for big losses with our weak Democratic leadership.

My family always discussed politics at the dinner table and my dad was a local committeeman. It was not unusual for one politician or another to drop by our home to see Daddy.

Today we get 24/7/365 saturation of talking heads where we used to get our leaders actually talking to us.
