I'll probably be given a hard time for this post but I don't care.

Watching Diane Sawyer's interview with the Romneys, I studied Ann's face and body language as she spoke. My gut reaction - my intuition - is that she is not a kind-hearted woman. There's something about her that made it all to easy for me to imagine her with a snarl; a privileged woman used to getting her own way and when she doesn't, there's hell to pay.

Of course this is just an observation, but in my life, when I feel this way about someone, I'm usually right.

Oh, and one more observation - both of them got spray tans.

See the difference? Rather than elevate herself, which would be prideful and arrogant, she merely recognizes that she is what she is, and that others just don't measure up to her standards. It's not her that's doing the elevating, but the other lesser beings who are failing to measure up.

Her father was a devout atheist until a year after his death, the Romneys had him baptized in the Mormon church.

More questions are being raised about presidential candidate Mitt Romney's religion after it was revealed that he helped baptise his adamantly atheist father-in-law years after the man had died.

Edward Roderick Davies was Ann Romney's father and died in 1992 after living as a staunch atheist all his life.

Recently-discovered records show that, in keeping with their controversial tradition of posthumously baptising non-Mormons, a ceremony was held to invite Mr Davies into the Church of Latter Day Saints one year after he died.

It is cool to them for a few miles. After that, dogs want the same protection of the inside of a car that humans want. Romney is a person that has no core and as a result, no sense of limits. Romney's dog may have liked the feel of wind during a drive, but that love was for maybe a few miles, not many miles trapped in an enclosure with no escape.
